Village of vultures
After having disappeared from the French mountains, vultures were reintroduced to the region of the Verdon at the beginning of this century. It turned out as a great success, as vultures can now be admired in the sky above the village of Rougon. Just outside the village, a dedicated belvedere offers a great way to watch these impressive birds. Make sure you bring your binoculars!
